"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God shall stand forever." - Isaiah 40:8
A wise man who understood the effectiveness of the written word once said, "There is power in those twenty-six soldiers ... the letters of our alphabet upon the printed page."
This is especially true when considering that printed resources can enter doors and change lives that are inaccessible to the evangelist. The production and distribution of sound Christian literature is critically important for spreading the gospel in areas that restrict evangelistic efforts - continents such as Asia and Africa that have many pockets that are hostile to the gospel.
This is why Nations for Jesus is so committed to distributing native-language Bibles, books, and tracts - so that people who might otherwise remain unreached may come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
