Africa is the second largest continent of the seven continents. It includes 53 individual countries. It is home to 1 billion people. They belong to 3,050 ethnic groups and speak more than 1,000 languages. Today many African countries are facing famine, drought, AIDS and other natural calamities. Tribal wars have killed millions of people in Rwanda.
Some African nations suffer from military dictatorships, corruption, civil unrest, war, and deep poverty. Hindrances to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in Africa include animism, witchcraft, fetishism, ancestor worship and idolatry.
Nations for Jesus is engaged in evangelism, church planting, and leadership development. We are expanding into the remote parts of Africa by partnering with nationals who can carry on the work and multiply the results.
